Forgot this wine, no indication of vintage except on the cork! A flashy earthy dark fruited presentation straight out of some wilderness, firm almost woodsy palate and good finish. Not at all what I would have thought of as Gamay. Looked like it didn’t present well several years ago. Age difference? — 3 months ago
Very light with only a slight acidity on aftertaste. Nice tasting. Pairing with pizza! — 8 months ago
I thought this was younger—had the wrong vintage listed in CellarTracker. Still tasty but would have been better a couple years ago. Slightly past its prime. From magnum. — 2 months ago
Intense, vicious, great acidity, powerful. — 4 months ago
Very light, drinkable and only 4.19 from Aldi — 8 months ago
Lots of complex aromatics that became even more expressive as the bottle warmed up. Some oxidative notes mixed with bread and flowers. In the mouth this leans to the vinous side. Acid driven which allows it to be consumed through out the meal. Just a hint of bitterness on the finish — a year ago
