Tried many times to upload a picture last night, without success. Feed wasn’t refreshing either.
This had begun its decline. Oxidized aroma when the cork was pulled. Cardboard and lemons on the nose. Palate was lively with exotic sweet fruits and baked apples. Remaining acidity kept this from falling off a cliff. Drink these now. — 3 months ago

Last bottle of this delicious and relatively inexpensive Priorat. It’s 50% Carignane and 50% Garnacha, but the Carignane really comes through on the nose, which shows deep, dark cherry and a little iodiney, stoney minerality. Big whack of flavor and body upfront. Licorice note making an entrance as the wine airs out. Tannins still and decent acids. Finish is a little short but at this value price point I’m in no position to complain. Solid wine for rustic cool weather dinners. — 8 days ago
