Medium ruby with quite narrow garnet rim . Quite rich and round on the nose , blackberry , cassis , touch of chocolate , coffee and dark cherry , red plum . Touch of warmth noticable . On the palate this is quite rich also with juicy dark fruits , blackberry , cassis , dark plum and a touch of grafite and cocoa , dry spice stained finish . Rounded sweet tannin and just balanced acidity . Only ok length , ends perhaps a little flat and overall could do with a little more freshness . Drinking well now , but will continue to show well over the next 5-10 years — a day ago
