Beautiful wine from a top vintage. Drinkable now, but definitely still room for ageing. Dark fruit, like black cherries, with notes of leather and cedar. Also still clear green notes, such as paprika and pine needles. Typical San Leonardo style. — 10 months ago

Welcome Ciliegiolo from Umbria- a unicorn varietal. Dark crimson color, crushed red fruits & cassis on nose; on palate medium plus acidity, medium body, a gorgeous texture- fine grained tannins, so some grip. Blackberries & black currant fruit. Really, really good. — 5 years ago
