Leave this open at least one hour before consuming. Rich Cabernet Sauvignon with leather and smooth tannins in the finish. Nice example of California Cabernet Sauvignon but not extraordinary. — 6 months ago
My last bottle of the 13s. It has been about 4 years, and this wine has now hit its stride. In my previous notes the wine was unbalanced. Now, with more age, and a 45 min decant, the wine is wonderfully balanced. Big ripe dark fruit, softened yet still powerful tannins, well matched acidity. Great mouthfeel and nice finish. Has been nice to see a wine through the years really develop. — 7 months ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of two hours. The C+C BdB Extra Brut pours a straw color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with gorgeous notes of white peach, green apple, lemon bar, brioche, marzipan, and chalky minerals. On the palate, the wine is bone dry with high acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and the texture is super creamy. This is an outstanding NV champagne based on the 2019 vintage. Just over 7000 bottles produced. Drink now through 2034. Disgorged in July of 2020. — 3 months ago
Was given this excellent bottle as a gift. Smooth, excellent, not to bold. Balanced. — 7 months ago
Aromas of bing cherries and black current. Delicate balance of oak and fruit. Light on the palate, balanced in the finish. Great Cab! — 5 months ago
Deep, Rich, and elegant. The wine actually feels more viscous than normal, and it’s just heavily perfumed and flavored and thick in your mouth. It absolutely feels like chewing on a handful of fresh blue and red fruit mixed together. Perfume of violet and Queen Anne roses, as it faded over time it actually became a much more elegant and approachable wine. Absolutely delicious. — 7 months ago
