Grand Vin Chateau Latour Red Bordeaux Blend 2001

Dark rubi robe, nose of cedar, blackcurrant, asian spices and violets. Very elegant and polished, complex, medium bodied, very civilised tannins. Long. Great stuff. Ready to drink but no rush. — 2 months ago

Artemis Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2012

Perelandra

California Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Just like the planet from C.S. Lewis’s novel that the wine is named after, this is a fresh, young Cabernet that has a light body. It almost could be mistaken for a quality Pinot Noir, yet still has the complexities and depth of a solid Cabinet. I tasted a number of different fresh flavors, maybe representing the possibilities for what is to become of this young planet (and wine). I definitely recommend. https://inklingswines.com/perelandra/ — 2 years ago

Charles Smith

The Honorable Yakima Valley Riesling 2012

Drinking the 2012 in 2015, I can tell you: C.S. Knows what he's doing. This could cellar another 2 or 3 years and still be fantastic. Clover honey, bright acidity, mild pear & white nectarine. Pairs beautifully with Thai food, spicy fish, even game hen. On its own, chill and sip on a hot evening. — 9 years ago
