Medium ruby in color; reductive when first opened, so I decided to let it breathe for about 30 minutes; chili peppers, black cherries, and plums on the nose; high acidity; medium tannins; tastes like pomegranates, red currants, and crushed gravel with a long finish. Nellie didn't like it. I think it's ok. — 6 months ago
Tasted blind. Ruby reddish color, young-looking compared to other reds so far. Opaque. Notes of black fruit, mocha, some earth and a little bit of wood. Rich in the mouth. Given our earlier Rioja bottle, we go back to Spain with guesses. I guessed 90 Unico. This is the Valbueno blend, with grapes from 85/91/96. 94+ — 3 years ago

Layered exotic and supple. This is definitely in the zone. There is a lot going on. Rich dark fruit. Ripe currants, smoke and earthy. Decanted. Give it 20-30 minutes to open. — 20 days ago
