Bought from Ocado as recipe (duck orecchiette) specifically called for valpolicella. Drank the remainder. Easy drinking but not bland at all. — 7 years ago
From our 8/18 stop in Corsica. Picked blind in local shop. Brustianu, Cualtacciu, Biancu Ghjentile, Cudiverta, Riminese, Genovese blend. 12.3alc. Recalling super aromatics and well balanced mouthfeel 2 weeks ago when shared. Delicious! Looks like no one else on Delectable knows this one... — 8 years ago
A rose that does t suck.
100% Nebbiolo.
Made by gattinara maestro Stefano dorelli. From alto Piemonte.
More like actual wine Than rose.
Nose is fresh strawberries.
Palate is good clean fresh fruit. Strawberries. So juicy and fresh. Great texture. Delicious.

Very nice biodynamically produced Sangiovese. Grazie, Signore Illy. — 10 years ago
A very elegant wine - attenuated nose of plum/cherry. Palate is more of the same but rather mineral and filtered quite elegantly through a tannic structure buttressed by just enough acidity. The structure really shines. Long finish & miles to go. A lovely wine from @Lyle Fass 😍 — 4 years ago

Happy Birthday Ceci! Grazie per il vino signore Dorner! — 9 years ago
I'm mad as Fausto! Fine, otherworldly, it blows apart my bias. Signore Albanesi, you are a thoughtful, kind and uncommonly talented man. — 10 years ago
Lyle Fass

Founder Fass Selections
Initially restrained on the nose, with faint tar, roses, chestnut, macerated mid-season cherry and a touch of classic Nebbiolo funk. The palate is already beautiful, silky, sweet and elegant, with tremendous purity, juiciness and vivid cherry fruit. Late-breaking Nebbiolo tannins build steadily across the palate, while the finish explodes with intense mid-season cherry and remarkable persistence. Aromatically still closed, but the finesse, balance and sheer length are already superb. — 4 days ago
