Lots of spicy, earthy goodness. Notes of smoke but not oppressive or heavy. Very nice to sip and held up with chicken parmigiana. — 7 years ago

Roero Arneis - had it with Amel, nonno Mario Nonna Maria, Tata Samia and kids in Sidi Bou Said. Matched it with three tuma, salame della cascina savoiarda all’aglio e Barbera, and tarte aux onion. — 8 years ago
Solid Chianti Classico, but not outstanding. At Osteria La Cantinetta in Firenze. — 9 years ago
Very well made California Zinfandel. — 10 years ago
This is the real deal.
Organically grown botanicals from the back garden looked after by nonno blended with the delicious rare bitter Strawberry tree honey.
It is beyond description, it is just never-ending on your palate. Simply amazing.
With the name Bomba Carta they play with the fact that the bottle dress resembles a molotov bomb which we call indeed in Italy Bomba Carta! — a year ago

Beautiful bottle of Gamay from Beaujolais! I believe I prefer the Moulin-à-Vent wines I’ve tried, but this bottle disappeared quickly! If you want Italian food (and beautiful natural wines) in Marseille, visit La Cantinetta. — 8 years ago
Its a heavy one and almost a little too much. Absolutely delicious with cheese — 8 years ago
Le bignele is a great winery in Veneto. I encourage you to pay them a visit and have tastings at their place with the kind and fun companion of Sylvia, the owner.
Any wine we tasted of theirs is just great but you cannot resist purchasing their Amarone (we bought a magnum).
The wine in the picture is their simplest and youngest, with bursting fruits and is just great with everything, young cheeses or meat. Love it. — 9 years ago

2012 has aged amazingly very nice — 5 years ago
Another good Riesling for Grandma and Nonno. This time a dry one. Fragrant green apple, citrus pith, and pungent crushed stone. Nose is changing and sweetening rapidly with air. Soft and mouthfilling. Dry but soft-textured. Has a weighty feel in the finish, and closes with a pleasantly bitter note. — 7 years ago

Delicious! And even more so because I am at Osteria La Cantinetta, Firenze. 12/16/17: found the wine as no. 20 on WS top 100 '17 list, 96pts. — 9 years ago
