Haven’t had Cascina Fontana before and glad I got to try it - very nice. It’s been a bit since I’ve had a wine with good age - for some reason we have had a lot of younger wine of late. Good reminder of the potential. Still majority primary but some secondary present too. Earth and tobacco but great fruit expression. Excellent acid. Pitch perfect pairing with veal Marsala at Carbone. — a year ago
