Have had the pleasure of drinking a few Carlisle Zins the past few years. All have been delicious. Wonderfully made. This 15-year-old is still in near perfect harmony with the tannins and fruits. The continued high-quality from this winery is impressive. — a month ago
Rich and structured, label says a little Zinfandel was added, which accounts for the spicy, brambly notes, earthy notes as well, drinking very nicely tonight, very nice Petite Sirah!! The only vintage I purchased, this may be the very first Carlisle Petite Sirah (about 75 cases, the back label says). — 21 days ago

Been a while since I have had a Zin and this was is not an over the top/extracted version. Nicely done, somewhat restrained, but a great nose. It was better on the pop and pour versus getting more air so it has that going for it. Every other bottle of wine I have been drinking seems to want air forever. — 23 days ago
Drinking beautifully at present - Prost! — 3 months ago
More terrior than fruit which I prefer, but a good amount of both. — 4 months ago
Blackberry vanilla custard nose with some wood spice undertones. Enticing. Great balance of fruit, dried fruit and wood on the palate. Luscious and chewy. Mid life. Craving ribeye. — 9 months ago

Lovely wine that's probably drinking at its best right now. A middle age wine that's very nicely balanced. Enjoy! — 4 days ago
