Drinking the 2007 in 2024. Light bouquet with hints of oak and earth. Deep dark fruit with medium tannins but a smooth finish. Love the oak and leather notes! Deep dark color and flavors. — 2 months ago

Serious wine this. Oaky with dark fruits and tobacco. Already balanced despite its youth. Definately not one of the lighter Brunellos. I loved this but drinkers seeking lithe, acidic elegance will be disappointed. — 7 months ago

Delicious wine. Complex and juicy with black- and redcurrants. Top vintage shinning through. If i was being picky there was slightly too much alcohol but that is really nit picking. — 2 months ago

Rosso di Montalcino Sangiovese 2015

Surprisingly sturdy & closed. Needs at least 6h to open.
Bright cherry, some leather, a bit of dried tomato.
On the palate this is savoury, dry, a touch rustic with pronounced tannins and bright, juicy acidity. A hint of tobacco leaf & roast on the finish.
Needs a lot of time to open but paired with beef this just sings. A delight worth aging.
