Oso ona!! Potolo potoloa — 6 months ago
Picked up 8 cases. At 5.85 CAD a great bargain for a nice rose. A lovely Grenache for the Summer, but full flavoured enough to enjoy year round. A great second bottle after a nice Chardonnay with Thanksgiving turkey. — 5 years ago
El Molar is an unusual 100% Garnacha from a region known primarily for Monastrell/Mourvèdre. It is sourced from the estate’s youngest plots in El Molar, planted between 2004 and 2010 on sand and chalk soils. Aged in large foudres and barrels for 14 months. Light ruby color. Red fruit. Straw lemon yellow color with aromas of fresh white flesh fruits, floral and oaky spice notes. On the palate flavors of pear, ripe apple and white peaches with honeysuckle, herbs and oak notes. Medium+ finish, ending with fruit, spice, oak and a citrus mineral character. — 4 months ago
Blackberry cigar/tobacco, leather, smokiness tones and smooth as velvet — 7 months ago

Winemaker note: “Pale straw-yellow in color, the bouquet is clean and expressive. The aroma sends scents of fresh white flowers, green apple, pear, and a hint of citrus. This wine stands out on the palate. You can taste poached pear, pineapple, apricot, and mandarin oranges with hints of ground ginger, honeysuckle, and lemon thyme. It has an excellent balance between acidity and creaminess, making it an easy drinking wine that is at once rich and full-bodied. With a very pleasant aftertaste that beckons you to take another sip.” — a year ago

Robust and earthy. Dark and brooding blackberries, plum. Smooth organic. Great finishing tannins, minerals. — 7 months ago
ask the wine guy for something unusual, something off the beaten path and he recommends this delicious dry 100% Palomino w/some bottle age: definitely a food wine, light greenish straw color w/fairly austere nose full of minerals, lanolin, herbaceous musk, white flowers (jasmine), ginger & some spices. on palate it is rigid & angular, zesty acidity, some citrus but mostly minerals & herbs, quinine, screams for briny foods - we had this w/deli section fare & salad. — 8 months ago
Rich tannins, some sense of red berries, terroir, earthy - great for the price! — 4 years ago
8 hours or so decanted, double decanted, brought this around nicely. Again another wine this evening that only got better. Big, bold tempranillo that has some resolved, velvety tannin of a wine of 15+ years but the fruit of wine maybe 7-8 years old...mostly primary, but deep. — 5 years ago
