Château Corton C.

Bonneau du Martray

Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru Chardonnay 2006

Pop and pour. A splendid medium straw color. On the nose: asian pear, crisp apples, lemon rind, almonds, floral. Taste: chalky, oily, vibrant wine with lemon zest, white peach, saline, slate, and a mineral lime peel long finish. YUM! Nice compelling wine at 19 years. — 11 hours ago

@delectable this was the Pinot Noir. Very elegant, cherry/raspberry, silky texture, stones, sassafras, earth and great acid. — a month ago

Triple C Estate Bottled Valle del Maipo Red Blend 2013

Deep, Rich, and elegant. The wine actually feels more viscous than normal, and it’s just heavily perfumed and flavored and thick in your mouth. It absolutely feels like chewing on a handful of fresh blue and red fruit mixed together. Perfume of violet and Queen Anne roses, as it faded over time it actually became a much more elegant and approachable wine. Absolutely delicious. — 16 days ago

Lot C-91 Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Old world in style with delicate fruit, subtle wood notes, some tannin, and firm acidity. Assemblage of Cabs from Oakville, Rutherford, St. Helena, and Howell Mountain which accentuate the Napa terroir. — 16 days ago

Les Chaillots Aloxe-Corton 1er Cru Pinot Noir

As close to perfect as possible. This 2016 vintage was dipped inn2024 with great pleasure. Beautiful fruits of cherry rounded by a nice tannin finish. The wine opened up and by the last sip the tannin complimented the cherry to a more oaky finish. Outstanding. On the occasion of welcoming Anna home! — 16 hours ago

Predictably reductive and tight initially but incredible depth and purity here. Pandemic relief purchase back in 2020 from a restaurant cellar by the unfailingly generous @Steven Perlman — a month ago
