Great lineup tonight of 02’s where the Coche showed much younger than its age, the Musigny was elegant, finessed open & expressive just entering its prime drinking window. The Beze was muscular, tight& needed air to show its dark fruit, spice, earth, mineral & violet — a day ago
Dark ruby red. Aromatic strawberry, plum rich, violet. Juicy. Bouchard Pare & Fils Gevrey Chambertin 19 @14000, Txin, 241127 — 2 hours ago
It needed a lot of air to start to show well. — 15 days ago
A very nice Clos de Bez from Jadot. Surprisingly decent — 20 days ago
A crazy nose. Smells like a Barolo. Stinky tar, intense and full. Tobacco and wood. Odd. Not unpleasant but would never think this was burg? — a month ago

Technically sound and classic in style, though it doesn’t quite deliver the excitement one might expect from this famed vineyard. On the nose, aromas of red and black fruits, violets, forest floor, earthy tones, subtle spice, and a touch of meaty savoriness. Mid-weight and silky on the palate, with an underlying stoniness. Elegant and admittedly enjoyable, but it honestly doesn’t fully showcase the pedigree of its origin, which aligns with my broader experience of this producer’s wines. — 3 days ago
