Beautiful gold colour. Creamy, buttery, beautiful concentration of flavours with a bright, clean finish. Citrus, earthy notes (think hay field) with elegant minerality. Really enjoyed this wine!!! — 3 years ago
nicely floral like a honeycrisp apple — 5 years ago
Apple and lemons on both the nose and the pallet. Creamy texture with a hint of RS on the long finish. Very easy drinker. Almost regal in a way. — 6 years ago
Estate’s entry-level wine. Chardonnay from 35-year-old vines planted in clay calcareous soil in Couturier’s vineyards around the village of Loché, right next to Mâcon in southern Burgundy. Biodynamic farming. Lively, complex — 3 years ago
2nd bottle of the evening. Ridiculously great for the price. Subtle, very crafted. — 5 years ago

Compared to the Chassagne, this was less dressed up but just as intense; and was a little more compelling, but neither moved me. Fruit-forward on the nose, with ripe lemons and stone fruits taking center stage. Some beeswax and autolytic notes add complexity. The palate was very textural and stony, especially with air. All in all a delicious Chard, but it just didn’t stand out during the night. — 7 months ago
