Tom Soha Bachelor Party Sept. 2023. — a year ago
Nice dark color.
NOSE: dense cassis, blackberry, a bit of chalky minerals, a little cedar and spice, also some graphite. Restrained, but yum.
TASTE: too young, but good. Cassis, minerals, raspberry leaf, tannins remind me of bitter olives. A little lighter than I expected, but really quite good. Would love to try again in a few years. 92.

100% Merlot! And 14.5% ABV. Color is appealing. Slightest rust and a nice crimson hue. Smells like water was sprinkled on hot bricks, berry-cherry non-alcoholic ciders, & ground fennel seeds. Flavors are lean and sleek, but juicy and on point. Fruits of the tart and bright type. Maybe a forest blackberry or a black currant? This is a great everyday Bordeaux. Would meet chicken or tofu dishes perfectly. A nice young Frenchie, oui oui! — 2 years ago

2022/5/20-21. We had this alongside the Sous le Château from the same vintage. Rich yellow. This is the leaner, stonier of the two, with a nice sour-sweet citrus profile. There’s a subtle honied creaminess hiding in the background - less prominent than with the Château, but clearly there, suggesting this is in its prime drinking window. — 3 years ago
