Beautiful, purple-red, well balanced somewhat young, very nice in a couple years — a month ago
A turning point vintage for the Domaine. I don’t think anyone faired better. 2013 Perrieres while still young, is in an amazing spot, showing both richness and energy wafting spiced ripe yellow fruit, pastry cream and white flowers layered in stony minerality. The palate is full and expansive with fabulous density, focus, balanced acids and a long finish. White burg at its finest…And now these Diam corks (which began in this vintage) give aging Lafon peace of mind 😅 — 2 months ago
2012 vintage. Opened and decanted. Tasted 45 mins after decanting. Medium-heavy body with tremendous power. Nose not giving up much at that point other than nebulous, dark fruits. Flavors of spearmint, watercress, rhubarb and ash. Needed at least another hour of lounge time in the decanter to unfurl those wings somewhat but three hours woulda been better. Two bottles left so will opt for a 6 hr decant next viz if possible. 12.25.24. — 2 months ago
Sweet, vanilla and honey, great desert wine. — 2 months ago
A great, reliable French chardonnay that we get when we see it. This one performed well in it's 10th year, with nice body and smooth finish. — 2 days ago
