Château Les Belles Murailles

Gitton Père et Fils

Les Belles Dames Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc 2022

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a few hours. The 2022 “Les Belles Dames” pours a pale straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of grapefruit, horseradish, grassy/herbal notes, and flint. On the palate, the wine is dry with high acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and mineral laden. Drink now through 2032. — 14 days ago

Vintage 2014 | from magnum | exquisite ripened Boutenac that needed aeration to unreveal a lovely smell of flint and cherries. Balanced taste. — 2 months ago

Château Belles-Graves

Lalande de Pomerol Red Bordeaux Blend 2019

Very nice Bordeaux with tons of black fruit, some earthy grippiness, and soft tannins making for a plush overall feel. It’s well balanced and enjoyable but not as complex as I would prefer at this price point. — 10 months ago

Belles Grives Morgon Gamay 2019

Light-brewed tea, mushroom, fresh rosemary, dark plum and cherry, ripe strawberry on the nose. Subtle notes of white tea, rosemary, strawberry, ripe red cherry, baked button mushrooms on the palate. Nice light Beaujolais with enough weight to stand up to some light meats or hearty pastas. — a year ago
