Popped and poured; enjoyed over a red sauce pasta night at home. High shoulder fill, but the cork completely disintegrated during removal. Juice is still drinking exceptionally well; shockingly fresh for being 40. Tons of black fruit and strong spices, with its age showing via expected tobacco and leather notes. Light silvery/gold color. Fresh aromas of citrus and tropical fruits with hints of white flowers. Bold citrus fruit flavors dominate the palate with additional notes of mango and fresh herbs.
