Beautiful, no, perfect verdejo from Rueda. 100 year old pre-phylloxera vines. Stunning. Piel de sapo, ripe pineapple aromas. Full bodied. — 5 years ago
Our weekend started a day early, and what a way to start. Classic domestic pinot which goes toe-to-toe with the best pinots that the French have to offer. Bright, textured and relatively dense on the mid palate. Nice weight, coupled with soft tobacco and moderate sweetness. Super duper effort from these guys. Not quite as full as prior bottles. — 4 years ago
Perfectly balanced Beaujolais (Gamay) with rich fruit and low acid and tannin, at pre theater dinner at Bistro du Midi in Boston — 5 years ago

Called barbaresco. Actually pre-phylloxera cab franc, 160+ yr old wines. Beautiful ruby color, expressive fruit, some spice and weight. Loved it — a month ago
