Bright medium ruby , perhaps a little more ruby on the rim than the Clos de la Dioterie . More sweetly fruited , with more red fruits than dark , spiced cherry , strawberry, raspberry , rose , roast red pepper, cranberry. Quite rounded tannin , balanced acidity . On the palate mixed summer fruits with strawberry , red cherry with good density, quite juicy but well balanced . Roasted pepper , spicy cherry , wet slate infused finish with medium length. This probably will improve over the next 5 or so years and last well a further 5-8 — 17 days ago

Bright medium ruby with quite thin ruby , garnet rim . Quite closed with sweet cassis , touch of clove and ash , violet , dark cherry , wet stone . On the palate more of the cassis and spicy blackberry notes , dark cherry , but mineral and saline also , touch of slate , tobacco . Quite lean and refreshing, balanced alcohol . Quite high acidity and grippy tannin . Good mineral and cassis tinged finish . Elegant and refined . Needs a bit of time , will probably improve over the next 5-8 years and will last well a further 10 or so . — 17 days ago

On the palate quite sweet red tinged fruit , with a herbal touch, suave rounded but noticeable tannin , balanced acidity and alcohol . Good anis and red fruit tinged finish . Drink now and over the next 5-8 years . This was successful and very enjoyable overall , aromatic and juicy in character, charming with no excess extraction or oak showing. — a month ago
