An outstanding value. Everything I expect from a Red Mountain Cabernet. Lots of dark cherry flavors. — 3 years ago
Crisp tart summer wine — 4 months ago
From a 375ml.
PnP a bit tight, but luxurious dark fruits,
tannins prevalent but chewy.
Lots of Blue/Black fruit and muddy gravel. Loamy, calls for protein.
Some comments said this was drying. I get that, but not to the point of being unpleasant. Chasing LdH ‘04 is a tough act to follow. This previously garage wine 90-10 Merlot/Cab Franc definitely treads the blacker, more treacly edge.
Not heavy, but black. — 2 years ago
Venus is a stellar no dosage champagne. Definitely worth seeking out.

Vénus is the domain’s single vineyard emblem.
Bottled under cork.
Disgorged 2 months before the release date without dosage.

Dark fruit and allspice in the nose. Dark fruit, especially black cherries and currents with a hint of nutmeg. This is a really good Grenache. We are trying it as part of a Grenache tasting of one from Napa, Oregon, France and Spain. — 7 months ago
Love the Prosecco very happy with the rose. Will definitely will buy. — 3 years ago
This wine has a nice golden color in the glass. I get a muted nose with apricot aromas foremost and citrus minerals chasing. The palate shows stone fruit and minerals galore. Acidity is nice and fresh, even zippy. The finish is medium long and carries the minerals back for a revisit. — 3 years ago

Tart cherry with some earthiness. Another example of why we like Pinots from Otago NZ. August 2024. — 2 months ago
