This is a delicious Viognier from Israel. Dry on the palate and fruit forward with limes, lemons, citrus, green apples, minerals and white pepper.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity. Long tangy finish with limes.
Showing nice complexity, crisp and refreshing. Tasty and good by itself or with food. I paired it with a cheese board and olives, by the lake. Kosher.

Dark ruby in color with a short purple rim.
Fruity nose of blackberries, blueberries, cherries, licorice, oak, vanilla, chocolates, spices, peppercorn, light vegetables and pencil lead.
Full bodied with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with plums, cherries, currants, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves, spices, chocolates, tobacco, coffee, peppercorn and pencil lead.
Medium plus on the finish with fine grained tannins and tangy pomegranates.
This is a great, Petit Verdot based, red blend from Sonoma County. Nicely balanced and enjoyable by itself or with food.
Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up, with nice complexity and a great mouthfeel.
Drinking nicely now, and will age nicely in the next 5 years. I had it a year ago and it is drinking better now.
A blend of 60% Petit Verdot, 30% Malbec and 10% Syrah. Kosher. Not Mevushal.

Excellent. Balanced and is very drinkable yet oaky and fuller. Remember this one. — 3 years ago
Covenant Wines - 2018 “Mensch” Lodi Zinfandel
Surprisingly tame for Lodi Zinfandel, also surprisingly good for Mevushal wine (fruit was processed by Flash Détente).
Have been wanting to try the wines of Covenant for a while, grabbed at WF to try during Bay Area Lock Down. — 5 years ago
This was actually a Covenant 2014 Malbec blend - Makom B’Sonoma. — 4 years ago
The wine has a blend of blackberry, dried plum and other died fruits. The tannins are for structure but dissolve in the finish which lasts long enough to give spice notes of satisfaction. — 5 years ago
Took this down last night with the bf and we both give it a thumbs up. It is purple-y fruity flowered and I believe was friends with an oak barrel at some point in its life. Seder-friendly, I’d think. All these kosher wines are making me crave haroset. — 6 years ago
