Just love this wine! Nice blend of grapes from the Bierzo Valley, biodynamic. Deep Ruby with loads of Berry fruits aromas adding some sweet floral spice and flinty notes. On the palate flavors of cherry, raspberry, and strawberry with a juicy mineral edge. Well balanced and integrated with fine chalky tannins, lively acidity and a long finish ending with fruit and spicy notes. Tremendous value for such a complex wine. — 24 days ago

Medium Ruby in colour. Savoury Earthy Plummy aromas with a touch of barnyard. Earthy plum notes on the palate of medium plus intensity to begin with but faded somewhat after around 40 minutes. Have always loved the Mencia grape from Bierzo and this is proof it can cellar 19 years although it faded a bit - 95 points at the beginning; 92 points at the end. — 5 years ago

Dry. Flavors of ripe blackberry, blackcurrant, licorice, earth. Medium-rich, chewy tannins. Big, powerful, and lasting!
