2022 vintage. Any wine that smells like roses gets my attention. In this case the roses are intertwined with spices, and it is hard to find wines this cheap that smell so nice. A delicious, uncomplicated, spicy and fruity Negrette, with a little tannic bite that can be served slightly cold. Abv. 12,5%. This organic Fronton delivers lots of pleasure and character, and it sells for a song. — 3 months ago
Lovely, small bubbles, green apple and pith of lime — 10 months ago
Pleasantly refreshing given the sugarload which I like to think people say about me when I’m overly excited about something. Still there is something white rose-y, persimmon-adjacent, and honeycomb funky going on. Very linear despite all its complexity like a well-made apple pie—down to earth but there’s more there than the sum of its parts. — 4 years ago

Smooth. Earthy. Even paired well with fish! — 8 months ago
Characterized by gentle bubbles and a dry sweetness with a funk going throughout. Super enjoyable! Flowers and red berries a bit too! Toastiness and nuttiness to it all as well. — 5 years ago

2020 vintage. This Négrette has more power than the Folle Noire d'Ambat, but the tannin is a bit more rustic, and the nose is more smoky/ spicy than floral. This needs food, worked well with lentils. Abv. 14%. If I didn't misunderstand Anne Ribes, this wine is not produced anymore these days. — 2 months ago
