👁️ Wonderful pale tawny colour.
👃 Deep aromas of confites dates, Agent prunes, toffee and torrefied black coffee
👄 Similar aromas found on the nose. Extremely seducing, rich and powerful.

2022 vintage. Olivier Decelle also owns Mas Amiel ( Maury), Jean-Faure ( Saint-Emilion), as well as estates in Burgundy and the Rhône Valley under his name. This Saint-Joseph "Empreinte"is a delicious, uncomplicated juicy Syrah with bright fruit, spices, and a gentle tannic bite. Very good value. Abv. 13,5 %. — 9 months ago

Smooth and rich, with intense fruit and well-balanced acidity and sweetness. Still some noticeable tannin. Should be opened an hour early to breathe. Eaten with pot roast. Very enjoyable. — 10 months ago
Had a glass of this with a small lobster roll at Supernormal. Sadly a little too cold. In colour very pale, water white with a pale yellow hue. I love Rhone whites but this was somewhat restrained. Barb thought a Lily perfume. Delicate soft flavours - a note of pear finishing with a bitter note on the light to medium weight palate. I have had more powerful Rhone whites but the cold temperature doesn’t help. — a year ago
Funky town. I expected this to be a naturally fermented Gamay or something of the sort. Medium tannins, a pleasant barnyard like profile. It’s organic, but merlot and cab- not what I expected. Threw a ton of sediment. Really interesting and good for thr $ — 3 years ago

2012 vintage. 100% Grenache Noir from very old vines, planted in 1914. Aged partly (20%) in new oak. Not overly sweet, with amazing freshness, complexity, and an intriguing minerality. Serious length too. Great value. — 8 months ago
