The 2022 Monts Damnés is a wine whose qualities you might miss because its texture is so fine. It is calm, tender and elegant. It's not fruity but savory with a pure, clear, chalky style. A little tense at the moment, this wine could be approached but will benefit from another year in bottle - or many more. (Rebecca Gibb MW, Vinous, August 2024)

Above average but maybe not the #1 choice at $80 a bottle. Lots of green and yellow pear. Limestone. Pairs great with oysters. — a month ago
Wow, I loved this wine. It evolved from nose, to approach, to mid-palette to a lovely long finish. There was a vibrant tension between the fruit and the acidity and the limestone underneath it all. And, basically, yum. — 3 months ago
Still a fave. — 6 months ago
Wish it had a bit minerality — 6 months ago
Aromas of soft citrus and peach with hints of minerals. Crisp acidity, good with roasted carrots, potatoes and chicken. Clean refreshing finish and a good value. — 2 months ago
The 2022 Sancerre Rouge is a gently styled, savory Pinot Noir with creamy red fruit and spice. It's light to medium-bodied with a richness of fruit on the mid-palate and succulent tannins. The 2022 is satisfying even at this early stage. (Rebecca Gibb MW, Vinous, August 2024)

Mineral driven, outstanding combination of Quincy and lemon peel, abundance of minneola, a subtle touch of grapefruit, dry and energetic tropic fruit finish. Uplifting acidity and exquisite texture and clean finish. Simply lovely! — 3 days ago
