Had this very interesting white Beaujolais Village up in the mountains near a waterfall and the minerality of the wine perf reflected the setting. Iodine and iron, almost a well water component which sounds odd but was So refreshing. A great country farm to table wine on a hot summer day with oysters and shrimp. Loved it. — 5 months ago

2016 vintage. Second wine of Château d'Agassac, owned at the time by French insurance company Groupama (and since 2021 by Gerald Jiquel who also owns Fourcas-Dupré in Listrac). Hard to beat for value for money at 9,90 euro! Classic Haut-Médoc with impeccable balance.Abv. 13%. — 4 months ago
