Orange wine! — 4 years ago
Might be one of my favorite Bordeauxs. Seemed to go well with everything and I always found myself going back for a refill. Definitely will have this one again. — 5 years ago
Drank this in NY. I was at dinner. And paired it with an IPA (the bottle was ordered I thought they were getting glasses and I ordered the IPA already). Would drink again. — 7 years ago
Ruby translucent, medium body, red fruits, currants, tart cherries, solid morgon gamay — 8 months ago
2016 vintage. Second wine of Château d'Agassac, owned at the time by French insurance company Groupama (and since 2021 by Gerald Jiquel who also owns Fourcas-Dupré in Listrac). Hard to beat for value for money! Classic Haut-Médoc with impeccable balance.Abv. 13%. — 2 years ago

Dark, full bodied, smokey and dry. — 8 years ago
Translucent garnet with violet edges. Cranberry, red currant nose.
Tangy-tart acidity with a bit of grippy tannin.
Nice everyday wine:) — 9 months ago
Had this very interesting white Beaujolais Village up in the mountains near a waterfall and the minerality of the wine perf reflected the setting. Iodine and iron, almost a well water component which sounds odd but was So refreshing. A great country farm to table wine on a hot summer day with oysters and shrimp. Loved it. — 2 years ago
Absolutely delivers great gamay character for the price point — 4 years ago

Nice gamay. Red fruit and acidic. Hint of pepper. Enjoyed it — 6 years ago
Nice Thanksgiving pairing. Very glou glou. Perfect food wine. Mellow. Garnet hue. More minerality than some. A little cherry cola on the nose. — 8 years ago

2020 was the last vintage produced under Groupama ownership, as the estate was sold in April 2021 to Gerald Jicquel (the Beautiful Life Group , that also owns Fourcas-Dupré). While it is an attractive, smooth Haut-Médoc, it lacks a bit of concentration, especially if compared to some of its peers in this great vintage ( like the Barreyres 2020 I've tasted yesterday). But a nice drink in any case. Abv. 13%. — 6 months ago
