Beaujolais-Villages Blanc Chardonnay 2022

Had this very interesting white Beaujolais Village up in the mountains near a waterfall and the minerality of the wine perf reflected the setting. Iodine and iron, almost a well water component which sounds odd but was So refreshing. A great country farm to table wine on a hot summer day with oysters and shrimp. Loved it. — 4 months ago

Nice, light, fruity. Just what I was looking for in a Beaujolais with better than typical depth. Good QPR. — 10 months ago

Vignes de 1948 Regnie Gamay 2020

Nose has vibrant, zesty fruit, some crushed rock, and a teensy note of barnyard funk that peeks out. Livelier and less dense than other ‘20s I’ve had, it’s pure and zingy in the mouth, with lots of stony minerality. Very nice. 9.1 — a year ago
