K is a big fan. Tobacco, spice, a hint of cherry. Thicker body but consistently dry throughout. Solid dinner wine — 3 years ago
Wine #8 of quarantine — 5 years ago
Medium ruby in color; cherries, raspberries, and dried herbs on the nose; high acidity; medium tannins; tastes like hibiscus, sour cherries, crushed gravel, and a hint of black pepper with a long finish. I think it would pair well with pizza. I like this wine. Nellie doesn't. — 9 months ago
Aromatic, beautiful, strong on alcohol but light in mouth, well balanced, a great pleasure all along the pranzo at La Rosa Dei Venti. In Senariollo, Sardegna, a wonderful place to eat local products craft fully made by the cook — 5 years ago
High acid. Interesting flavor. Becomes more complex as it opens up — 6 years ago
Deliciously sweet, almost like a sparkling grape juice with a hint of alcohol. Paired well with a tart kiwi desert. — a year ago
Refreshing and not sweet — 5 years ago
This bottle really exceeded my expectations. Just a beautiful nose of sandalwood, Asian spices, dried cherries, and a bit of dark chocolate. Lovely tart cherry and potpourri on the palate, perhaps just a bit lacking in the mid-palate. The tannins really show up on the finish. Paired beautifully with pasta in a truffle cream sauce. — 6 years ago

This wine has a medium ruby color to it. The nose is full of black fruit and savory aromas. Plum, blackberry, and currant bring sweetness, which is balanced by notes of earth, tar, and pepper. The palate shows clean, fresh fruit and a brisk acidity with firm tannins. It's a great chance to add the Gaglioppo grape to your century club list. — 2 months ago
