Toasty with flint notes and crème brûlée on the nose. Well balanced acidity — 3 years ago
I haven’t had a lot of aged Chablis, but this is drinking remarkably well for being 13 years old. Austere; high acid but with some weight to it. Flint and lemon peel but I would wager this saw at least some oak as there is definitely a little butterscotch in the background both in the nose and palate. Drinks like a lighter more restrained Montrachet. — 3 months ago
Vintage 2004 | beautiful smell with flint, cedar, Scottish pipe tobacco and velvety taste. No need to keep this, for lovers of ripened wine, beautiful tertiary tones. Paired with horse fillet, polenta with porcini mushrooms, broccoli, bell pepper and yellow courgette. — 2 years ago
This is the Pascale Matrot not the Pierre Matrot Charmes Meursault. I have previous notes here on both Cuvées. A strange charcoal note initially which wasn’t there on the 2nd day. Pale to mid yellow in colour Flint and citrus with yellow orchard fruits developing. River stones. Very mineral together with pear on the medium weight palate. An excellent Premier Cru Meursault from a great vintage for White Burgundy. — 3 years ago
Ridiculously amazing. One of the top charddies the Aussies have produced. Burgundian in style but so young yet so expressive. Noses flint, lemon peel and oak. Lemon curd, spice and nutty on palate. Bloody A, mate! — 4 months ago
From the Domaine Leflaive Montrachet, Burgundy France 🇫🇷 is 100% Chardonnay and has a gorgeous golden hue. The nose hits you with oak, vanilla, butter, honey and some sweet tropical fruit of pineapple 🍍, green apple 🍏, honey 🍯, white flowers, lemon rind 🍋 and some mineral notes (like flint and limstone). The palate was very creamy with flavours of melon 🍈, lemon 🍋, lime, apple and hints of tropical fruit too. The finish was smooth and long giving it some delightful complexity. 🤩 — 4 years ago

A portrait in elegance. Initially the nose is shy, but unfurls into a full range of lemon, from underripe to meyer lemon; yellow flowers, lilies etc, a slight amount of flint minerality, lemon custard, hint of fresh almond. On the palate reminiscent of a delicious lemon custard accented with a touch of vanilla, fresh acidity, great texture, good length. What a great wine. My first from Brisset and I must say I am impressed. @Lyle Fass — 2 months ago
