Vendange Tardive Alsace Gewürztraminer 2015

What a gorgeous and aromatic Gewürztraminer from Alsace.

Sweet on the palate with high acidity to balance the sugars.

Showing delicious tropical fruits, honey, spices minerals.

This 9 year old will continue to age nicely in the next 20 years.

95 points.

Trimbach

Alsace Gewürztraminer 2018

Truncated party notes. Textbook Gewurz, but in the Trimbach style, meaning a bit drier and less viscous than the norm, with slightly better acids. I like the Trimbach Gewurz style (I wish more producers would emulate it.) — 3 months ago

@Tom Casagrande, agreed that Trimbach makes great (dry) Alsatian wines!!
