Nice Chablis with some yellow fruits and floral hints. Palate is slightly round on the attack but the nicely dosed acidity beings a good balance. Nice. 89-90
Beau Chablis sur les fruits jaunes et des accents floraux, une attaque assez ronde, mais une belle acidité apporte équilibre et fraîcheur. Bien. 89-90 — 4 years ago

My personal wine bliss. Older than my drinking buddy, and WAY older than me. 1978 was clearly a good year, at least for Remoissenet 'Dad & Sons'. Sleepy, fungi at first then...wait for it, wait for it...here comes the body, the fruit, the earth..don't stop, don't stop! Eddie Gilbert, I love you for opening this wine for me! — 9 years ago
Picq rocks. Literally. An underrated producer. The VV is intense. Packed with material. Almost oily in its intensity. Almost too unctuous for a typical Chablis. I like. — 5 years ago
Slightly better than the Gilbert Jacquesson. Less sweet but still a bit too much for me. This has better depth, character, much more chalk, volcanics.
Strawberries, creamed cherries, some blackberries, baguette crust, good presence of chalkiness, saline, sea fossils, pink & red roses, good acidity, nice balance in the finish.
