Comparison between 05 and 18. 05 is crushing it. Such a beauty showing that an oak-influenced Sauvignon Blanc-Sémillon blend can be this good, rivals with those best whites in burgundy. If you buy newer vintages, please be patient. Wait till at least 10 years to open it! — 3 years ago
Medium ruby red. Dusty and rich nose with blackberries, minerality, cranberries and baking spices. Medium plus tannins (7/10) and full bodied. A lot more integrated then last time. Layered with dark cherries, graphite, cherry liqueur and some gravel. Drink till 2025. At A Château on 18th. — 6 years ago

Scott@Mister A’s-San Diego
1986 vintage. Sampled five bottles for a 1986 BDX tasting @ Mister A's in San Diego. Double decanted and tasted over four hours. Medium body. Pretty rustic early on and that stayed consistent till the end. Opened up a little later with a splash of bright cherry fruit. Should stay the course for another 5-6 years. 3.14.24 — 8 months ago
