Really? Wow. At 26 years old, not only hanging in there… but highly enjoyable. The mustiness had to blow off for a while, and then it hit its stride. Some toasty fruit remains in front of a long finish. cheers to ending 2023. …. Still going. Finish still going…. Going… — 6 months ago
@Delectable Wine this is the
PB White Blend No 1
Grenache blanc, marsanne and rousanne
Glen Garvald is owned and run by Levantine Hill
They just try different things, but location and winemaking is very similar.
Here we have a quite crunchy and spicy white wine. The grenache blanc puts it in the CdP area for some similarity, one for all this elegant greenish, sour grapefruit like taste, perhaps a bit of kiwi-like.
It's easy drinking, it has enough body, perhaps lacks a bit of elegance. Still a bit exuberant, i bet it will get better with time.

Third bottle! Still surprising and good. Quite good but not overwhelmingly so for Mabel’s Hainan chicken with flavored rice. — 2 years ago
Ah Gruner.
Nice clear pale yellow.
Melon, mineral, tropical fruits, pineapple, and a bit of petrol.
Slight slight effervescent quality. Great, solid expression of gruner. Chalky, loamy, pineapple, and limestone. — 3 months ago
Shows a little of the bell pepper aromas that I often found in older Sonoma Cabs, but nicely balanced fruit that is still quite youthful, tannins have mostly receded, drinking quite well tonight, bravo Patrick for making this gem!! — 9 months ago

Fruit forward, but with nice butter and oak notes. Good with BBQ, but the oakiness can be overpowered by the food. — a month ago
