Glen Scotia

Luckett Vineyards

Tidal Bay White Blend

Good fruit and body similar to a reason but not quite as acidic. No idea what the grapes are. another reasonably priced Nova Scotia Wine at less than $20. — 19 days ago

Galen Glen

Stone Cellar Grüner Veltliner 2023

2023 must have been a warmer/riper vintage due to the fact that this wine seems quite tropical. Aromas and flavors of pineapple, mango, pears and lemon/lime. Noticeable touches of minerals and white pepper on the long finish. Very fruit forward and refreshing. Crisp acidity and well rounded texture. Not a typical expression of Gru V, but pretty enjoyable. — 3 months ago

Laurel Glen Vineyard

Counterpoint Sonoma Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon 1995

Structured and somewhat tannic still, still some primary fruit but I worry the tannins will outlast the fruit, impressive showing for the second wine of Laurel Glen, our good steaks are effectively cutting the tannins, very good Cal Cab!! — 5 months ago

@Ira Schwartz, I also had a 1986 Laurel Glen Cabernet next to the bottle above, will consume that soon! And, for @Tom Casagrande, this 1995 Counterpoint was 12.5% ABV!!

Gawd, I miss the old Patrick Campbell Laurel Glen efforts. Difficult to find his main label efforts.

Benjamin Bridge

Méthode Classique Rosé Blend

Delicate notes of strawberry and citrus with undercurrent of toasty minerality, Balanced acidity with tasty, crisp finish. Paired nicely with chicken thighs roasted with tarragon and onions. Bubbles fizzle out a bit more quickly than with other sparkling wines, but still tastes great with minimal bubbles. — 2 months ago

Levantine Hill

Glen Garvald Yarra Valley Muscadelle 2021

@Delectable Wine this is the
PB White Blend No 1
Grenache blanc, marsanne and rousanne

Glen Garvald is owned and run by Levantine Hill
They just try different things, but location and winemaking is very similar.

Here we have a quite crunchy and spicy white wine. The grenache blanc puts it in the CdP area for some similarity, one for all this elegant greenish, sour grapefruit like taste, perhaps a bit of kiwi-like.
It's easy drinking, it has enough body, perhaps lacks a bit of elegance. Still a bit exuberant, i bet it will get better with time.

Pennsylvania Grüner. That’s right, and a very good one at that! Well balanced with pure varietal character and age worthy over several years. — 2 months ago

Brut Réserve White Blend 2012

Tasted 2012 vintage. Pale yellow. Nice toasty, yeasty notes on the nose. Tasty layers of yeasty almond with citrus zest continuing into the long finish. Very nice, with a vibrant acidity balancing the mellow brioche flavors, but bubbles are not as persistent as they are with some sparkling wines. — 3 months ago

Laurel Glen Vineyard

Sonoma Mountain Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 1986

Sweet dried redfruits and oak aromas, soft tannins, sweet fruit on palate as well, very fine acidity and depth, seems close to fully mature, but should last 3-5 years at least, kudos to Patrick Campbell, who made a lot of outstanding LG Cabernets back in the 1980s and 1990s, excellent Sonoma Mountain Cabernet!! — 4 months ago

So bloody jealous. Have been looking for the Laurel Glen cabs from 1985-1994 for ages without success. Formative for my nascent palate in the early 90's. Can't score a bottle to save my life. F.
