See previous note from March 2022. Very dark Ruby in colour- impenetrable. Blackberry, smoky notes. A rich full bodied dense palate with a tarry note. Dusty. Granular persistent tannins. Again, Thomas Matthew’s drinking window is way too early (to 2025). This wine will cruise to 2030 with ease. When you taste this wine you have a new appreciation of the allure of Tempranillo, in this case old vine Tempranillo from Ribera del Duero. Post Script: The next day - aniseed and a crushed ant note. — 3 years ago
Might be only Kiwi Sauvignon Blanc I like. Dry but citrusy without any aftertaste. — 6 years ago
Nice! Surprising but well balanced! Jammy, cherry! — 8 years ago
Mid Ruby in colour. Highly aromatic nose reflecting its youth and freshness like freshly baked blueberry pie. Ultra savoury and juicy on the palate - a note of crushed ant amongst the raspberry notes. Medium minus tannins. Loving these unoaked fresh dry reds using old vine fruit. TheSkip if you liked Bests Bin 1 you will love this. Bottom line delicious. Most importantly my wife loved it. Tasted 168 weeks later on 14th February 2022 with Georgie home. We all loved it. — 8 years ago

A+ wine. Complex with the uniqueness of the ant Etna region. Cherries. Cinnamon, salt, burnt wood - love this. — 8 years ago
Let it breathe, but it's silky, black fruit , delicious new world cabernet - with well integrated oak flavors and minty feeling finish. Tannins are high & sweet, alcohol is also high & wine is dense like yogurt ;) , luscious with high acidity, blackberry jam, fruity but so good. Typical New world but really tasty and balanced, cedar and mint ant the finish. — 9 years ago
First of all Kudos to Ant Hill love the wax seal over cork! Deep Ruby with aromas of dark Berry fruits with notes of herbs, citrus, floral and earthy spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and cherry, tea, vanilla and herb tones, well balanced with acidity. Firm fine tannins on a long finish ending with fruit and floral herb character. Very nice! Will age well! — 3 years ago

After a brief decant this wine produced a lovely perfume redolent of ripe plums ( almost pruney) Earth, minerals, black fruits and a little crushed ant. Also espresso notes A lot going on from this premium Barossa Cuvée On the medium to full bodied palate prunes plum and earthy meaty characters. This was an exceptional Shiraz. The fruit for the Command comes from a vineyard planted in 1894. — 7 years ago
