Creamy texture. Intense flavor.

This was a real surprise. Pale gold in the glass, quince paste, tangerine, floral, a touch nutty, but with real acidic verve—not even remotely tired or flabby. Not quite on the level of Gonon Oliviers but really fantastic. Maybe I should rethink my biases re: rhone whites. Excellent with cast iron chicken with olives and artichokes — 3 years ago
I’ve been told by locals that Montsant is the region that makes Priorat style wines but at a better value (and they don’t mean that euphemistally, they do mean better value). On the map, it almost envelops Priorat. So far, so true. Raspberries and stone fruit predominate. Maybe a touch hot. Didn’t blow my mind, but it’s definitely a competently made wine from good grapes. I will definitely be back for this one. — 6 months ago

It seems to me that if you blended Weiss Burgunder and Grau Bergunder it would be similar to this.
Natural-esque - on the edge for my tolerance to natty-ness; earthy, mushroom, wet wood. 6 years might have been a wee long to wait. — 5 months ago
E&M's "Muller" I've had many times before. Consistently good, even if it doesn't really fill the role of natty wine for the natty crowd, which is clearly the intention here (they make a Weiss and and Grau and and Weiss & Grau which are way wilder imho). Baby skin contact - you can hardly notice. Refreshingly light at 11%, it has a little cream and yeasty element, a little cool to the touch. Notes in the apple, pear, floral vertical. — 2 years ago

I love this wine but I’ll admit it’s niche. Glorious confectionary nose. Clearly too young, as this wine really sings starting at 10, but whatever, I got too much wine to drink them all at the perfect time. Sweet wood, stone fruits and intense minerality. Some pollen as well on the nose. Such a complex nose. But in 5 years watch out! Palate is so elegant and rich but fresh from the minerals and not the acid which is merely solid. Really coats the tongue. So good. The finish is stone fruits, sweet wood and that rock licking feeling on your tongue. Just a killer Grau because it’s got that Laible magic. — 2 months ago
