#Viura or #Macabeo as it’s called in most parts of #Spain is a challenging grape to create excellent wine with. Only the older vines with more concentrated grapes and wines which include some barrel fermentation seem to conduct it towards elegance. This is a very lovely example of Macabeo — 4 years ago
2016 white rioja. Really lovely. Complex flavour but not over powering. Best on it's own to get all the flavours. — 8 years ago
Dry with balanced fruit and mouth feel — 6 months ago
Perfect with iberico. We all liked this. Tätä voisi juoda vaikka jouluna kinkun kanssa. — 3 years ago
A un buen vino, le doy buena nota porque me gustó y además no me produjo alergia q me suele pasar con los tintos regulares. — 5 years ago
This white Rioja wine - Viura and “other varieties” - shows a pale golden tint in the glass. The nose is beautiful. Citrus and tropical fruit abound, with a stony minerality laced into the fruit. On the palate, the acidity is extremely refreshing and the flavors of tangerines and lemons are again presented in mineral fashion. The finish is lengthy and the tropical fruit seems to last the longest. — 8 years ago
Vine Styles- excellent with red sauce, on sale for $25 — 2 years ago
The 2013 Bodega Classica Lopez de Haro Reserva is medium dark in the glass. The nose is aromatic with violets, cigars, ripe plums and earth. On the palate, we find big, dark fruit, oak spice and a meaty black olive note. Tannins are firm and the acidity is lively, so it's great to sip as well as have it with some steak. — 7 years ago

A good Tempranillo from Rioja. Very dry like most, but some fruitiness makes it interesting. December 2025. — 2 days ago
