Excellent Pinot with dark red fruit, wet stone and spice — 3 years ago
2016 vintage. One of the best wines to be found under the humble "Bordeaux Supérieur" appellation. Very elegant with bright crisp red fruit and a minty freshness. Impeccable balance and very good length. As always very reliable. Highly recommended. — 5 years ago
🏅 Rating 90+/100 (4,05⭐)
Fresh, floral and energetic. Slightly reductive, but with light touch of oak. Bee wax, yellow plum. Saline minerality on the palate reminds of Chablis from Kimmeridgian limestone. Silky texture, flavours support the nose. Difficult to believe it is regional Bourgogne appellation. It does have this Saint Aubin signature to it. And we know from Olivier Lamy that fruit comes from vineyards adjacent to village and often times declassified fruit from superior appellations enriches this Bourgogne blend.
Superb value for money.

Outstanding value for a humble Bordeaux. On day 6 in zero it’s still showing well with velvety texture and complex finish. — 2 years ago

Popped and poured; consumed over three days. Best on Day 3 but this was pretty awesome from the draw. Brisset’s humble Bourgogne Blanc sources fruit outside of the appellations of Chassange-Montrachet, Volnay and Meursault. I wouldn’t blame anyone for suspecting it to be 1er cru. The 2021 “Cuvée Cassanes” pours a straw color with medium viscosity. There is a gorgeous nose of green apples, underripe pineapple, kiwi, star fruit, and a mix of limestone and chalky minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. The wine has lovely texture. The finish is long and has some super chalky minerals. A distinctive Bourgogne Blanc. I wish (and will) buy more of this in the future. An awesome pairing with pheasant pâté. Drink now through 2031. Thanks to @Lyle Fass for the assist! — 3 years ago
Tangerine tea. Twigs. Flowers. Very nice. — 5 years ago
Great riesling, shame it's only once a year. A little pineapple and honey on the palate makes it a sweeter one but still enjoyable and went great with homemade generals chicken. — 7 years ago
Day Watson
Slightly chill before drinking. Floral, blackberry and spice. Some tannin. Medium bodied. Acid. Good summer red option or lunch/brunch. Paired well with aged cheeses, blackberries. Winner of tonight’s tasting. — 3 months ago
