This is the “Jardin de Tru” comprised of 44% Malbec, 22% Merlot, and 24% Syrah. Juicy dark red fruits, green peppercorns, and dry vegetation.
Nice balance given the 11.9% abv. Not overly green. First Mexican wine I’ve had and while it’s expensive for what it is ($36) I look forward to watching this producer and region. — 3 years ago
Merweh, Jardin secret, 900m. Sémillion essentially and this is oxidative made. The nose is bonkers, intense Brazil nuts, smoke, and a distant memory of pineapple and canned apricot. Even more fun in your mouth. Fruit intensity returns, more herbal involvement (esp thyme) and there's a really pleasing structure and long finish. Pretty strong case for this being an entirely different beast to aussie and French sem. — 4 years ago
Field blend of Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Beurot, Muscat and Pinot Noir from the Engelgarten, a vineyard with poor, gravelly soils located just outside the walls of Bergheim (about 10 miles north of Colmar, in the Haut Rhin). Pure, expressive nose with notes of citrus, rubber and minerals. Intense, dry, textured. Slightly ripe. Long, saline finish. — 4 years ago
Slightly jammy with a rich dark berry finish. Slight earthy, cold stone-like background . Very good!! — 6 years ago
Maybe not Merlot. Maybe Grenache Syrah Mourverde (GSM). Excellent. — 3 months ago
À nicely balanced Merlot-primary BDX from Entre Deux Mers bottled as a VdF. This is a must-try wine for any Bordeaux lover! — 7 months ago
This white wine is five years old now and is showing some wonderful signs of its age. The fruitiness of its youth is becoming more complex and savory. Aromas of wet sidewalk, citrus and salinity come forward on the nose, while the palate is driven by minerals and earth. Muscadet wines are universally thought to be good pairings with oysters, shellfish or any sort of seafood, and this is certainly no exception. — 4 years ago
Raspberry notes, full bodied. Floral essence. — 5 years ago
A lovely Chardonnay! Semi-dry with nose of vanilla and mango. This is my new go-to Chard! — 6 years ago
Love this wine. Hits all the marks for me- great with food or on its own- balanced and enough complexity to make me keep coming back for more. Excellent! — 5 months ago

El Jardin de la emperatriz rioja Alta Crianza 2018 Crianza- blend of Tempranillo, garnacha, maturana Tinta, graciano. Dark ruby. Maturano is dark like the cat. On the nose, smoke and oak with some dark berries. On the palate, smoke and oak and dark berry with strong acidity. Making it fresh. Strong tannins. — 4 years ago

Fruity aromas with a bit of earthy funk (a la forest floor), light on the palate with tart blackberry and black cherry, a little of the funk, and subtle barky tannins that linger on the tongue. — 25 days ago
