It is time for some Merlot on this #MerlotThursday. Let's bring Merlot back!
Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Full-bodied and elegant with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with red and black fruits, cedar, vanilla, licorice, spices, chocolates, tobacco and herbs.
Long finish with fine grained tannins.
This is a delicious Merlot from Santa Clara Valley in California. Rich, yet elegant.
Good right out of the bottle, and better with airtime.
Good by itself, and will also pair nicely with a big piece of steak.
A blend of 85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Malbec. Aged for 36 months in oak barrels.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

A very nice wine. Beautifully aged — 10 months ago
Deep ruby in color; plum, blackberry, and a little black cherry on the nose; high acidity; tastes like sour cherries, blackberries, and black pepper; more savory than fruity; smooth tannins and a long finish. An interesting experience. It's probably good with meat dishes. Maybe steak. Opened up a lot after some aeration. It's not fruity, but it's definitely a quality wine. — a year ago

Safe go-to for Vinho Verde. Refreshing, light, enveloping, tropical. — 2 years ago
Beautiful Grenache, light body, semi-sweet fruity flavors, smooth and very easy to drink. Just fine on its own or paired with roasted meats. — a year ago
Fresh & fruity with a little minerality. Really enjoyable with a light summer meal. 🍤🥖 — 2 years ago
