Just wow. Nose is mega black and green olive. Just stunning. So much granite and blackberry fruit. Vivid and refined. Wow. 9.8 nose. Palate is massively concentrated and the finish has so much energy and granite. Violets throughout and top top finesse. Formidable structure as well but this is the most exciting wine in St. Jo. Bar none. Wow. — 3 years ago

Domaine Jo Pithon, Savennières 2021 chenin blanc
I love chenin and more specifically from Savennières... Honey, green apple and chalk on the nose. Very fresh and acid driven palate, some width, some nice mouthfeel with almost a grain, a long fresh apple-y finish that goes on for ever. What's not to like here? — 2 years ago
This is a notably vibrant style of Muscadet with crisp acidity, loads of lemon, green apple, pear and melon. Despite being sur lie the wine has a very clean, lean feeling on the palate. Great with scallops — 3 years ago
Nose : graphite. Blackberry. Beautiful.
Palate: blackberry. Blueberry. Lovely finesse. Dry Good texture. Delicious. A bit of Fresh sweet green olives. It flits in and out.
As this opens the lavender comes out. Bloody gorgeous.
As this opens waaaay more elegant and less blueberry juice.

Sick wine. Opened after 15 Gonon was corked. Wild nose. Game. Blackberry. Olive. Dark violets. Palate is sweet, succulent and super tangy with great freshness and purity. Amazing tiny berry concentrated fruit and impeccable balance. Nose now coming into focus with lovely high toned violets, red and blackberry and even some cassis. This is truly wonderful. Terrific concentration and layering. Awesome fruit on this and wonderful minerality. Profound in every sense of the word. Super and very very complex. — 4 years ago
