Smells like a souvenir shop off La Rambla, spices, herbs, perfumed soap and incense; escapism more pure than a Stallone flick. Wonderful! Tannins and acid are in check, taste follow the nose, bit more soapy perhaps, bit more one-sided, but still more than just a nice thirst quencher. — 5 years ago

Off-dry riesling from the rheingau. Nice citrusy nose, some great acid drive, some sweetness but very well balanced with the acidity. Long finish with plenty of freshness. Goes well with green aspargus. — 6 months ago

Beautiful Biodynamic estate with a hidden cellar straight out of a James Bond flick. From their selection of young vines. And ahhhhhhhhhbbb the stony floral Sauv Blanc gives the wine lift and air, the wings, while the secret engine of Semillon provides a deep counterbalance, a waxy rudder guiding the whole contraption smoothly thru the air. The bouquet on this is outstanding. Blue/black fruits, a hint of smoked meat, lavender, mint and spice. Slight flick of heat. Black cherry, brine, licorice, cedar on the palate. Linear acidity and smooth tannin. Good finish too. F’n solid! Perfect for V-Day steaks. — 5 years ago
