2008 vintage. Decanted for an hour before tasting. Didn't even know WS was in the Central Coast game in this area at this time period. Beyond decent earthiness. Light-medium body. Hint of menthol. Could successfully stroll out and about distinctively for another 3-4 years. — a year ago
Apparently a good value for 100 JS and 95 WS ratings. Great depth but a bit sharp still. Think it needs a few years in the bottle. — 4 years ago

I’ve always loved the WS Coastlands. This vintage at this age was the best yet. — 9 months ago
2008 WS wine of the year. Finally time to open with steaks. Great wine from the first sip — 3 years ago
From the Haro-Lumia Tasters Dozen. This was friggin terrific. Terrific cherry backbone. Woodsy, smoky. A long finish. A huge welcome surprise. Only downside was we were social distancing in 40 degree weather so the bottle got cold in a hurry. A WS Top 100. — 4 years ago
Wine Spectator Wine of the Year from my memory so I bought a case....last bottle and frankly it’s darn good! Good focus even with 5 grapes and nice Bordeaux nose...only know upon sipping from higher alcohol and intense fruit/acid without the clumsiness. I’ll give WS some credit here as 96 sleeper wine of the year! — 4 years ago
