Le Bois De La Tour

Marie-Laure Lurton

La Tour de Bessan Cabernet Sauvignon Blend

2022 vintage. Dark red, much deeper colour than usual for this estate. Marie-Laure Lurton seems to have gone for a bit more extraction in this exceptional vintage. More powerful than usual, with a fresh black fruit personality, embedded in a tight, ripe tannic structure. Serious length too. Decanting recommended,as it showed better the next day. Ab. 14%. — 5 days ago

Domaine de la Tour du Bon

Bandol Grenache Blend Rosé 2023

Some white peach, almond, subtle plum skin. If you don’t see the color, it drinks surprisingly close to a southern Italian white like Greco di tufo — 2 months ago

Château Bois Redon

Bordeaux Supérieur Merlot - Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

So good to be drinking this bottle again… the 2014 vintage was what started my obsession with French Bordeaux’s year ago. Glad to report this is still a fantastic bottle! Fruity and well balanced. Tannic and fruity. I just love this wine and will continue buying it, for the price it’s a great R bank Bordeaux. #nostalgia #bordeaux — 4 months ago

Château La Tour Haut-Brion

Pessac-Léognan Red Bordeaux Blend 1990

Dark rubi robe with bricky tears. Nose of secondary and tertiary notes, tobacco, asphalt, cedar, and a hint of dark berries. Medium bodied, a bit off in the finish, but really good bottle and we still have a couple more left :)

Château La Tour de By

Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend 2019

Yes…I know..a tad too early. But any chateau that has a lighthouse (built 1611 AD) in the middle of its vineyards deserves a look. And I’m so glad I did. Classic Bordeaux profile made up of 60% Cab, 35% Merlot, and 5% Petit V. With a QPR of $18 this Mèdoc is simply crushing it. Cellar worthy? Absolutely! 😎 — 4 months ago
