Smooth. Very easy to drink. — 8 months ago
Solid nose of dark red fruits. Tannic yet silky and long finish. This is an excellent old-world merlot/cabernet blend with finesse. It can stand on its own, or be enjoyed with food as it is a little on the acidic side. — 4 years ago

Excellent. Funky and yeasty with a fruity acidity. — 6 years ago
On the pour hint of lemon, on the swirl lemon and a little peach, body has a nice texture that yields good acid with long clean finish. Enjoyed in Andernos Les Bain, France, since Foursquare has been inoperably in the weeds for 6 weeks. — a month ago

Bon Cahors plus fruité, bien corsé, bel équilibre. — 5 years ago
Medium weight, red fruit, disappears after an echexeaux of the same year and same producer in the same vintage. Excellent Chambolle, red fruit, quite heady. Great company for binge Netflix Fauda. — 5 years ago
Handsome #pessacléognan; 2nd wine from this famous producer. Took a good bit to open up. #bordeaux — 8 months ago

I bought this for 40 dollars in Paris in 2004. It has survived 2 cross country moves since then. I was worried it would be dead or over the hill. The cork was crumbly. But the wine was incredibly wonderful. I have been meaning to drink this for 10 years but kept delaying. Still lots of primary fruits along with the forest and other 2ndary flavors. This is why Burgundy can be so entoxicating to people. It so often disappoints, but not this time. Too bad wines like this are now so far beyond my means or desire to pay. — 8 months ago

Aroma of wild blackberries. Light, bubblegum, cranberry, fresh violets. Such a interesting wine. — 5 years ago

Still very muscular. Black licorice, rusting iron. Country fresh blackberries straight off the bush. Gorgeous wine. — 15 days ago
