Fragrant nose with peach, pineapple, orange peel, lime, honey, and chrysanthemum. Medium to full body. Vibrant and intense, soften by creamy texture which is surprising given that this did not see any oaks. Hint of sweetness but dry. Great winemaking.

Slightly jammy with a rich dark berry finish. Slight earthy, cold stone-like background . Very good!! — 5 years ago
Very interesting comparison of grower champagnes. Vincey Marne closest to traditional, very Apple intense, a bit reductive, long on lies, complex . Beaufort very reductive, 100 pct alive, yeasty, incredible depth. The rose almost tastes like a Belgian kriek from a very good house. So much more interesting than the big houses but expensive. — 8 months ago
Hard to believe it’s the same grape that goes toward some of the most boring white wines available. This is wild; pretty peach color from a little skin contact, slight oxidative notes which add to the complexity without tiring the wine out, very lively, intense and fairly long finish, most of the fruit is around apricots. Lovely — 2 years ago

This is very similar to Les Jardins Philosophiques from the sister property Bouscasse, with a bit more nutty lightly oxidative notes that almost points you to Jura Blanc. Textured body contrasts the crisp acidity nicely.
Usually a blend of Petit Courbu and Petit Manseng, but the back label shows 100% Petit Courbu for 2015. This will cruise for another 5-8 years. — 10 months ago
