Lone Kauri

Broc Cellars

Lone Pine Vineyard El Dorado Lagrein 2023

New grape for me, and new Broc for me. Love it! The nose is a bit green and underripe, but the fruit is amazing. Red current, raspberry, black cherry, some strawberry, but damp and dark, then it turns dry. Great balance of fruitiness and dryness towards the end. Some tannins on the finish and subtly herbal, but not much. Pure dry fruit for quite a while. Comforting winter red. Lovely label. With pizza.

As with other Brocs, this doesn’t hold up so much on the second day. Drink fresh.

PnP. Lovely purple color with red tones. Raspberries, mint, and eucalyptus on the nose. Fruit forward but somewhat muted on the palate. Medium depth and short finish. Nice! — 3 months ago

Lone Birch

Yakima Valley Riesling 2022

Crispy, tart, refreshing. Pears and stone fruit with a hint of minerality. Mouthwatering finish, I keep wanting more! This has everything I love about Riesling wines. I can't believe the price was so reasonable - I will keep an eye out for this one! — 2 months ago
