Fresh pith peach skin cloudy yeast super tasty — 4 years ago
The label is both pretty and evocative of this pretty and evocative wine that feels as though you've literally become the bottle's essence...like a love potion of petrichor and lover's spit HA ;). But really, smells like a field of freshly misted wildflowers beside a deep lake full of mystique, and a subtle kiss of honey that leaves hints of citrus on the lips. Beautifully balanced. Luxurious and sprightly. Alluring and innocent. — 5 years ago
Cool blend from Pfalz...vegetal tones jump out on nose...but palate more restrained..elevated acidity but a very pleasant light lemon peel ..unique blend Pinot blanc/reisling/Sauvignon blanc ...zeee Germans!!! — 7 years ago
Omg good - prefect construction with some intriguing blackberry seed and purple plum notes that desperately wanted to jump out of the glass. Believe it or not only decanted for 45 mins - created an utter explosion of flavor and power - the wine absolutely amazed me with the intensity and deep flavor
It’s a big wine and it’s not “ready” by scientific standards, but boy oh boy was this thing singing in prefect pitch already with its electric blueberry, blackberry, purple plum and river rock spices - this surreal bombastic wine is reflecting both youth and a seeming modern stylistic character I have not experienced from a previous Manfred wine I have tried
Whatever your preference, it’s hard to deny the expert construction of this particular wine. Captivating, driven, complex, and pure. The only thing missing from this at the moment is some finesse, which I have confidence it will gain over the next few years. Ideally, wait until after 2022++. 98-100 points.
A huge contrast with the 2013 Next of Kyn No.7, which was all balled-up with nowhere to go all night; hyper-vigilantly tannic and on-guard. The 2014 was just as big, but had the presence of amazing flavor to back up its intensity and fortitude. — 8 years ago

Just rated 100 by Jeb,Not usually a white wine fan but the fizziness and citrus funk reminded me almost of a very natural cider. Bought after a wine tasting at local store. — 18 days ago

marto worner is a young german winemaker who uses no intervention in his winemaking. he's happy to use native yeasts and does no fining, filtration or sulfite additions. skin contact wine that smells like rotting oranges. yum. fairly acidic, making my mouth water starting from the sides of my tongue. funky forsure. right up my alley ! — 6 years ago

dark, and rich, smells smokey. Tastes of fig jam, smoke, and cassis. — 7 years ago
Lemon and tart white stone fruit. Light+ body and nice clean mineral acid finish. Pleasant — 8 years ago
IIRC, this is made by Ployez-Jacquemart. The wine pours a light straw color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, mostly orchard fruits, apple, some lemon curd, brioche and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. Easy to like. Drink now. Disgorged March 2025 — 4 months ago
+1 hour decant(decent fine/cloudy sediment). A striking dark magenta color. On the nose: sweet black fruit, earthy mushroom, leather, bacon, floral. Taste: deep, dark, rich, and silky as you would expect from a Manfred Krankl wine with blackberry, dark chocolate, bacon fat, earth, and a long peppery coffee ground finish. YUM! — 2 years ago

Super clean and delicious. Love the Riesling nose. — 3 years ago
Wonderful with our fresh monkfish from the local fish truck. Purchased a few years ago and the age has given this great wine more depth. Really nice owners if you are in their zone. — 5 years ago

I was surprised when this turned out to be an orange wine, but not at all disappointed. Beautiful amber color, medium bodied, with a strong nose of ripe, sweet fruit, with good acid, and notes of navel orange, Meyer lemon, sweet cream (though VERY light), with hints of mustard, celery and other subtle vegetal notes. Palate is smooth, with great energy and well integrated creamy motes of ripe orange, blood orange and grapefruit, but not tart, with more prominent vegetable notes, maybe some more anise and celery. At the finish there’s even hints of some smoky BBQ, which ends in a dry, slightly spicy and savory hue. — 23 days ago
